Mornings with Mary Beth – April 15, 2021

Vegas Chamber President & CEO, Mary Beth Sewald, hosted an in-person President's Club member event at the Chamber headquarters. Mary Beth was joined by special guest Senator Richard Bryan to chat with attendees and answer questions about Nevada's business climate and response to COVID-19. Surprise guest, Caleb Cage, reunited with Senator Bryan at Mornings with Mary Beth to present him with the recommendation letter he wrote for Caleb’s 1997 application to West Point. President’s Club Member Event at In Color Studios – April 14, 2021

A fun twist to our President's Club member event at In Color Studios involved livestreaming the entire event! Attendees not only enjoyed watching the live-filming, they also joined the recording and became a part of the broadcast. 2019 Customer Service Excellence Celebration – Dec. 3, 2019

The Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority hosted the annual Customer Service Excellence Celebration – a culmination of a full year’s worth of amazing recipients and it was their time to shine! The 2019 CSE Person of the Year award recipient is Adriana Perez of Suncoast Casino. Perez received this prestigious award after we received a letter from her supervisor detailing a unique event that took place during Adriana’s shift earlier this year. Click here to learn more!

Preview Las Vegas – Friday, Jan. 17, 2020

Preview Las Vegas took place on Friday, Jan. 17 at the Wynn Las Vegas and brought over 1,400 attendees who were eager to hear about the upcoming economic trends in Las Vegas, new changes in transportation and how Las Vegas officially became a sports city. Experts explained that Las Vegas as a city is actively peaking in terms of economic success on both a regional and national level. The event kicked off with President and CEO of the Vegas Chamber, Mary Beth Sewald, joining the Vegas Golden Knights Drum Line before giving opening remarks. Jeremy Aguero of Applied Analysis vivaciously explained that Las Vegas is economically in a good place going into 2020. President of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitor’s Authority Steve Hill announced to Nevada businesses that LVCVA will be changing their slogan, which will debut at The Grammys. Tina Quigley of Virgin Trains updated the crowd about the upcoming train that will connect Las Vegas with Victorville, CA. The event was capped with a “fireside” talk with National Football League Commissioner, Roger Goodell. Commissioner Goodell explained that Las Vegas will be a successful football city due to the support from the State of Nevada as well as Nevada businesses. He believes that there is potential for what Las Vegas can host for the NFL, starting with the NFL Draft in April 2020. Preview Las Vegas proved to be a successful event which kicked off what is shaping up to be a positive year for all of Las Vegas. Business Excellence Awards – Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2019

The Las Vegas Chamber is proud to produce the annual Business Excellence Awards (BEA), exclusively sponsored by Nevada State Bank. Each year, hundreds of business community members come together to celebrate these special businesses. This year, the Chamber and Nevada State Bank provided an Emmy Awards-style show where all nominees were recognized, finalists were honored, and one winner in each category was revealed at the annual BEA event in October.
