MAC Night Out 2023 (Military Affairs Committee)
The Military Affairs Committee works hard to provide recognition to our local military community, which is comprised of active-duty personnel, reserve personnel, veterans, and their respective spouses and families; helps members of the Vegas Chamber conduct more business with Nellis, Creech and the Nevada National Security Site; and encourages businesses to hire veterans. On May 18, 2023 the Committee and the Vegas Chamber hosted a dinner at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino to honor and celebrate these local heroes.

Stephanie Kocher is the new owner and president of Las Vegas Woman Magazine. The publication has been in print for 18 years with a mission to educate, entertain and inspire. Stephanie brings a lifetime of marketing and publishing experience and has worked side-by-side with her mother, Ruth Lauber, who is the current vice-president of Las Vegas Woman Magazine. Between the both of them, there is over 60 years of magazine experience. Stephanie is also a member of the United Way's Tocqueville Society and Women's Leadership Council.

Mike Murphy has been the President and General Manager of Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield of Nevada since 2006. In his role, he is responsible for overseeing all commercial group and individual business in Nevada. With more than half a million members in Nevada, Anthem is the second largest insurance company in the state. Anthem is a customer-focused company that is dedicated to providing its members with access to high-quality, affordable healthcare.
Seth Schorr

Seth Schorr is Chairman of Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino. The casino resort is the embodiment of Schorr’s vision of a downtown Las Vegas hospitality experience. Since 1991, he served the Wynn Resorts team, developing the international marketing department in Macau. He and his partner, Jeffrey Fine, co-founded Fifth Street Gaming. Schorr developed the first fully integrated eSports program. He is a graduate of the Univ. of Pennsylvania, a YPO member, sits on numerous boards and was appointed by Gov. Sandoval to serve on Nevada State Board of Museums & History.

As Lexicon Bank president, Stacy Watkins is responsible for connecting banking and investment resources to companies, small businesses, and individuals in Southern Nevada. With almost three decades in the business, Stacy has end-to-end banking industry experience at some of Nevada’s leading financial institutions. Stacy obtained her dual bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from the University of Phoenix, and a Business of Banking certificate from the Pacific Coast Banking School. In her free time, she is an active leader in the community, dedicated to furthering Las Vegas’ economic mobility and financial literacy.
