Focus Las Vegas is a series of mini-seminars designed to help alumni from the Leadership Las Vegas and Leadership Advance, as well as others, stay up-to-date on important community issues so that they can continue to be informed and meaningfully engaged leaders.
Recent topics included water sustainability and water policy in Southern Nevada, and the reorganization of the Clark County School District.

Andrea Woods is Director of Community Relations and Finance with GO B.E.S.T. (Big Entertainment Solutions Technology – www.gobestbiz.com). In her role, she is building relations within the community that can benefit from the services offered by the organization, as well as connecting the organization with non-profits in need of assistance. Woods has also assisted in the development and implementation of policies and procedures focused on eliminating corporate theft. She has a strong passion in the area of education for at risk youth. As industries evolve, Andrea looks for opportunities to “be at the table” as a benefactor for self and community. Every day she is working on her dash and paying it forward!
Denette Suddeth

Denette Suddeth is Regional President and Head of Commercial Banking for PNC Bank in Nevada and is responsible for PNC’s market expansion in Nevada driving a culture of teamwork, client advocacy and community engagement. She has over 25 years of banking experience with CIT, Wells Fargo, and U.S. Bank. Suddeth has extensive non-profit board service as past chairman of United Way of Southern Nevada and Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada. She is a current board member of UWSN. Suddeth earned a BS degree in Managerial Finance at UNLV. She is a certified executive coach and graduate of Leadership Las Vegas.
Karl Nickoley

Karl Nickoley started Frequency Pictures in Hollywood, CA in 2011. Frequency is an award-winning production company that produces national and regional commercials, brand films, training series, social media campaigns and feature films. In 2017, Frequency expanded to Las Vegas producing campaigns for Visit Las Vegas and The Grand Canyon. Karl has over a decade of experience producing campaigns for major brands like Geico, AT&T, Ford including equity raises for internationally distributed feature films. An honors graduate of The Los Angeles Film School, he is certified in Film Finance from Pepperdine University.
