The Public Policy Leadership Series – or, PPL (“People”), for short – educates community leaders interested in serving in publc office on the tenets of good public policy and governance. The program is in partnership with the UNLV Greenspun College of Urban Affairs.

Mark Fine is the Chief Executive Officer of Las Vegas Lacrosse, which will be an expansion team in the National Lacrosse League (NLL), owned by Joe Tsai, Wayne Gretzky, Dustin Johnson and Steve Nash. Previously, Fine worked for the Brooklyn Nets of the NBA, also owned by Joe Tsai. Prior to the Nets, he worked for the New York Mets of MLB and the World Famous Harlem Globetrotters. Fine began his career as a Minor League Baseball and arena marketer with Comcast-Spectacor after interning with the Baltimore Orioles PR department.
Lisa Santwer

Lisa Santwer oversees marketing and communications for CCCN, which specializes in oncology, hematology, breast surgery and research. Santwer helped establish CCCN’s nonprofit, ORION Cancer Foundation, and serves on the Executive Committee of Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada. Her community activities include serving as co-chair for 2015 Leadership Las Vegas’ Health Day and advisory board for UNLV School of Health Sciences. Santwer is a graduate of Leadership Las Vegas and a 2012 Hall of Fame inductee into the Women’s Chamber of Commerce.

Stephanie Kocher is the new owner and president of Las Vegas Woman Magazine. The publication has been in print for 18 years with a mission to educate, entertain and inspire. Stephanie brings a lifetime of marketing and publishing experience and has worked side-by-side with her mother, Ruth Lauber, who is the current vice-president of Las Vegas Woman Magazine. Between the both of them, there is over 60 years of magazine experience. Stephanie is also a member of the United Way's Tocqueville Society and Women's Leadership Council.

In 1987, Victor Fuchs began his career as a Project Manager at Helix Electric, one of the fastest growing full-service electrical contractors in the nation, and quickly rose to the ranks of President of the Las Vegas office. He acquired ownership of the Las Vegas company in 2001 where he is currently President and Managing Member. He is known for his generosity throughout the community and has a deep commitment to employee training and safety. The company has been the recipient of numerous local and national awards.
