Karla Perez has devoted her entire professional career to improving health care access and patient outcomes throughout Nevada. As the Regional Vice President for Universal Health Services (UHS) overseeing the Nevada market since 2009, she has created an integrated system of care comprised of acute care and specialty hospitals, outpatient services, freestanding emergency and urgent care centers and physician practices to better serve residents and tourists who require medical care.  She serves on the board of multiple non-profit organizations, including the Board of Trustees for the Vegas Chamber.
