A Realtor for over 35 years, 27 as a Broker-Owner, Fafie now serves as Executive Vice President for Southern Nevada for ERA Brokers Consolidated, a multistate brokerage with a 38 year history of accomplishment and leadership. Fafie was the 2008 Chairman of the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce Board of Trustees. She is a 1995 graduate of Leadership Las Vegas. Fafie is the current President of the Chamber Insurance Benefit Board. Fafie has served on numerous community boards for business and non-profit organizations.
Bill is an Assurance Partner at BDO USA and a leader in BDO’s National Gaming, Hospitality and Leisure Industry Practice. He is extensively involved in all areas of accounting and auditing for the firm. He works closely with a number of organizations in the gaming, retail and wholesale, real estate, and construction industries, providing exceptional client service through a holistic approach and attention to detail. Bill assists with fraud examinations as part of the firm’s litigation support practice and has helped identify the perpetrator of fraud and determined loss amounts in multiple fraud issues. He helps his clients with internal controls and regulations to prevent occupational fraud. Bill earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Idaho State University and is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Nevada Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is active in the Las Vegas community participating in several youth sports programs and volunteering his time for various not for profits. In addition to Bill’s role on the Vegas Chamber’s Board of Trustees, he serves on the board of directors of Helping Hands of Vegas Valley, which aids seniors in need.
Robert Maricich is widely recognized as one of the home furnishings industry’s most innovative leaders. He was instrumental developing the strategy for the creation of International Market Centers, L.P. and for raising over $1 billion to fund the purchase of the International Home Furnishings Center, ShowPlace properties, and the Market Square properties in High Point, N.C. and merging them with World Market Center Las Vegas forming the world’s largest operator of premier showroom space. International Market Centers encompasses over 11.7 million square feet of world-class exhibition space.
A native Las Vegan, Lisa is a first-generation American Latina who has spent her life educating Nevada’s students. She worked for 25 years in CCSD as an English and Spanish teacher, Dean of Students, Assistant Principal, and Principal at the middle school and high school levels. After retiring from CCSD, Lisa served as Nevada’s Lieutenant Governor. Throughout her career, Lisa has worked to bring people together and build a community that makes parents, students, and educators proud and productive. As CRSV’s new President, she will continue her lifelong dedication to ensuring student achievement and success, particularly for the underserved.
