Vegas Chamber, US Bank launch free coaching and growth program
LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Vegas Chamber and U.S. Bank have partnered to create a new program aimed at helping members realize their goals and achieve them through business coaching, planning and execution.
Audra Hamernik is the new President and CEO of Nevada HAND. She brings more than 25 years of experience in real estate, financial services, social impact investing and lending, and community leadership. She was most recently the Executive Director of the Illinois Housing Development Authority. She has also served as Principal of A. Hamernik & Associates, Inc., and as Executive Director of Bluestem Housing Partners, a nonprofit housing developer. She earned her Master degree, as well as her Bachelor degree, in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Illinois.
Jaime Cruz serves as Executive Director of Workforce Connections, Southern Nevada’s Local Workforce Development Board. Under his leadership, Workforce Connections has been recognized nationally for innovative partnerships and programs that help connect employers to a ready workforce. Cruz understands the barriers many face trying to improve their careers. As a young man, he worked as a dishwasher after immigrating from Peru despite his degree in Mechanical Engineering. Cruz worked his way back to the engineering field, holding executive roles in the hospitality industry before transitioning to the public sector.
Lisa de Marigny leads a team passionate about luxury and innovation. Omni is known for premier service and pristine chauffeured fleet of black sedans, SUVs, limousines, and mini coaches. The team opened Tango Car, the first app-based on-demand transportation service for passengers traveling in wheelchairs. Lisa’s desire to provide mobility to the paratransit community made Tango a fitting name for this unique startup. She grew up in the transportation business while earning a B.S. Organizational Leadership from Penn State University, she is a 2012 graduate of Leadership Las Vegas.
Larry Singer, a senior managing director at Newmark Knight Frank, is a 40-year veteran of commercial real estate and one of Southern Nevada’s top producing commercial brokers. His team has represented national and local clients including Cirque Du Soleil, Westcare Foundation, Southern Nevada Health District, Greenburg Traurig, Ainsworth Game Technology and Clark County. He is a member of the Las Vegas Metro Chamber Board of Trustees and has served as chairman of both the Lied Institute of Real Estate Studies at UNLV and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Nevada.
