Welcome to the all-new LVChamber.com! The Chamber team has spent the better part of this year working on a site that will better serve our members and the community, and give you more opportunities to share your business and expertise.
Here are a few new features with the new site:
- The “Need Help?” Feature – Have a question about business licensing? Or need a copyright attorney for a brand new technology you’re pioneering? Fill in a few quick fields and hit “Submit,” and someone with the Chamber will get back with you on how to proceed (or let you know a few people to contact for next steps).
- The Chamber Collective – This is the brand-new blog of the Metro Chamber, and we want to feature you! If you have an idea for a post or would like to suggest content, please email Pomai Weall. Just keep in mind that this blog is editorial, so any suggested content should provide information, best practices, or relevant news to your fellow members.
- News You Need – When important business news or information is released, we’ll keep it here and push it out through our social media channels, but this is a convenient central location for local, state, and federal business news and updates. We also promise to never make a comment about Fake News (ever again).
- A streamlined user interface – Our new site is mobile responsive, which means you should have the same experience using it on a mobile device that you do on a desktop, tablet, or any other device on which you can access the Internet. The Chamber goes wherever your business goes, and with an increasingly mobile workforce, we made this a big priority with our site design.
The website is still an important place to view our events and community calendars, nominate a person for a Customer Service Excellence award, view our policy priorities, read the Business Voice, browse the directory for other members, and view your perks and discounts as a member – that hasn’t changed.
And more importantly, this is only the beginning. As we continue to add to the site with content and feedback provided by you, we will be adding increased functionality, new information, and more to serve the needs of you – our member. We encourage you to reach out to us with any feedback you may have, either through the convenient “Contact the Chamber” form on our site, or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
We’re excited to debut this to you and look forward to hearing your thoughts on it. Happy surfing!
